Meet the Family

Justin Eggar – Agency Owner

Justin grew up in the Fiji Islands while his parents were missionaries and lived just outside of a village in Valelevu on the main island of Viti Levu. After leaving Fiji, he joined the Navy and was able to enjoy wonderful duty stations in Iceland and Italy. In 2002, he received an honorable discharge from the Navy and spent a year back in the Fox River Valley where he attended ECC for a year. Justin finished up his undergrad at Liberty University in VA in 2006 and began work for the American Institue of CPAs. In 2009, Katlyn and Justin married and thought that there was no better place to live and raise a family than in the tri-cities. They opened their agency in 2011 and are one of the fastest growing new agencies in Illinois.

Katlyn Eggar – Business Development Manager

Katlyn is co-owner and business development manager for Eggar Insurance. She was born and raised in North Carolina, and has a background in retail management. Prior to opening an agency with Justin, Katlyn worked for a company called Origins, an Estee Lauder brand. During her management tenure with Origins, Katlyn won awards for having the highest gross sales of any employee at Origins. One of the primary reasons for her success is her drive to give customers the best possible service experience possible… and it is a strong desire for her to raise the bar for what customers expect and receive from their insurance agency. Katlyn manages part of the team at Eggar Insurance and her experience is vital in the success of the company.

Elena Burgess – Licensed Office Support Representative

Elena comes to Eggar Insurance equipped with a great work ethic and positive attitude. She helps the office run smoothly and efficiently while providing exceptional service for our customers. She went to COD and ISU for Special Education and currently lives in Naperville with her daughter. Fun fact about Elena – she used to be a competitive figure skater!

Matt Del Giudice – Licensed Insurance Producer

Matt is responsible for consulting with customers regarding their insurance to ensure that they are properly protected. He is also essential on one-on-one communication with our clients. Matt currently is enrolled in college and is on the board of directors for the local railroad museum. On the weekends, he enjoys riding his motorcycle in the nice weather.
